Three Litte Ants and an Alligator

By Amakey

Once upon a time, there was a happy ant family. They lived on a tree near the river bank. The family members consist of father, mother, and three kids.

One day, while father and mother were busy looking for food, three little ants played together. They ran, joking and laughing happily, they didn't realize that they were standing on a very old small branch. Suddenly, a strong wind blew the tree, the old small branch broke, and fallen into the river. The three little ants were still standing on the broken branch. All little ants shouted, asked for help, but their parents could not do any things to help them.

The branch moved following the current. All the ants kept shouting asking for help, but no one heard their voice. They were very hopeless, the youngest ant start crying. But, after floating for some times, they saw a young alligator was lying on the river bank. "Alligator, please help us, we can't swim, we are going to die." shouted the oldest ant. The alligator soon swam toward the floating branch, when he close enough, he caught the branch with his mouth. "Thank you alligator" said the oldest ant. "Please take us to our parents, they live some where up the river." said the oldest again.

Then, the alligator swam up the river, brought the little ants in his mouth. The alligator kept swimming until he met the ant's parent, then alligator swam to the river bank, just under the tree where ant family lived, and he dropped all little ants there.

Ant's mom get off from the tree to meet her kids and alligator. "Thank you alligator for saving my kids, we are very happy to meet our kids again, we would never forget this." said ant's mom to alligator. "Don't worry, we have to help each other." said the alligator, then he swam away.

Since then, all little ants played more carefully, they didn't want to play away from their parents.
